Hi Team!

It’s Matthew and Katie, your intrepid co-leaders. We hope you are having a great start to your summer vacations. We are at the Putney Student Travel barn getting super excited while planning some of the final logistics for our trip this summer.

We will be doing our main service project in the town of Sihuay and have some exciting excursion days to Ollantaytambo and Lima—and then we finish it all off in Cusco with a trip to Machu Picchu.

Don’t forget to bring some sunscreen because we are going to be spending a lot of time in the beautiful Peruvian sun. Also pack some warm clothes because we will be in the mountains and it does get quite cold at night.

P.S. We have a test question for you to answer once you land in Lima! Do you know how to say “Hello” in Quechua?
