As always we had a really good breakfast cooked by our two chefs Mario and Milton. That helped us prepare for the hard day that included work for the bathroom from 8:30–12, helping the school of Sihuae in class teaching English, and playing soccer outside with the kids. Alex, Lucas, Filip, and I interviewed Juana, the teacher of third and fourth grade. She shared information with us about the daily life of the kids, the government, and the Incas.
At 1:30 we had lunch full of protein, providing us needed energy for the soccer match against the other Putney group. Unfortunately our team lost 6–3 after a very long and tight game. It was fun, though!
We went to sleep early, tired but excited for our small trip to Ollantaytambo.
