Greetings from Peru!
After a long day of travel, we finally made it to Lima! Our first day started out with a quick breakfast at the hotel followed by a visit to Museo Larco.

We learned about Incan history, art, and culture at the Museo Larco.
After the Museo, we enjoyed a relaxing lunch of Chifa (Peruvian-Chinese blend) while we watched the Euro Cup quarterfinals.
Although disappointed with the outcome of the game, we had a great time watching the Euro Cup during lunch!
In the evening, we gathered for our in-country orientation with an ice breaker game and conversations about the schedule, our favorite moments so far, fears, and expectations for the trip.
We enjoyed a leisurely walk along the beach watching the waves crash against the Peruvian coast.
We’re so excited to head out to our village this week!
